Factory 2006-2012 Z06 & Grand Sport Corvette air filter plastic retainer. This is the O.E.M retainer designed to hold the air filter in position.

2009-2013 ZR1 & 2012 mid production -2013 Corvettes have this retrainer built into the air filter assembly and therefore must be replaced when upgrading to an performance air filter, such as an Attack Blue High Flow Air Filter or Green Performance Air Filter.
