97 - 04 AcoustiSHIELD Hood Insulation

QuietRIDE Solutions under hood cover kits will not only insulate your Corvette's engine compartment, but they'll add a custom look to your Corvette's under hood that is sure to please the car show judges. Available in a smooth version or with a 3-D molded GM licensed Corvette emblem or 50th Anniversary Emblem.

AcoustiHood starts with pre-cut heat insulation engineered specifically for your C5 Corvette. The heat shield panels are designed to lay inside the wells of your Corvette's hood and will protect the outer hood and paint from radiated heat. The panels are installed with 3M spray adhesive and sealed with a special seam tape. Insulation placement instructions are included.

The ABS AcoustiHood panel then lays over the heat shield insulation. Manufactured of high temp ABS material designed to tolerate temperatures up to 250 degrees. The AcoustiHood installs with factory-style fasteners designed to hold the insulation panel to the hood's inner structure.
