Wilwood's new W6AR Extreme Big Brake kit is specifically designed to upgrade your C5 & C6 Corvette' front brakes for aggressive street or dedicated competition. Engineered to provide maximum braking capacity without any modification to your Corvette. Fits 97-11 Corvettes with 18" high offset wheels or factory 06-10 Z06 equipped Corvettes. Calipers - Competition proven, machined forged billet body provides superior strength and resistance to deflection and separation under high load. Six piston design generates big brake clamping force with balanced pad load for even wear patterns in all high heat, high load conditions. Stainless pistons resist corrosion and reduce heat transfer to pads. Spring loaded SRS bridge plates dampen noise while protecting caliper bridge from wear.

14.25" Staggered Direction Vane Rotors - Staggered directional vanes provide maximum cooling efficiency without unnecessary added weight. GT competition machining prep includes asymmetrical degassing slots and individual dynamic balancing. 14.25" diameter increases leverage for improved stopping power. Forged aluminum rotor hats reduce weight while adding strength to handle serious brake torque delivered by the W6AR calipers, black anodized finish resists corrosion.

Wilwood's BP-20 compound "Smart Pads" generate higher friction and fade resistance of a race pad, with immediate cold response, reduced noise and low dust levels for the street.

Radial mounting provides secure attachment directly to OE mount with two planes of adjustment for precise alignment over rotor. Brackets, premium grade fasteners and alignment shims are included with each kit. All Wilwood brake kits from Modified Corvettes include brake hoses to complete installation.
